Onion Bhaji

Ingredients:
6 medium to large Onions
1 or 2 eggs Eggs
1 cup Plain flour
1 tsp Ground corriander
1 tsp Ground cumin
1 tsp Ground ginger
1 tsp Garam massala
1 tsp Ground Turmeric
1 tsp Chilli powder
Enough water to make a stiff batter

180°C/350°F/Gas 5
Cooking Time:
40 mins
Method:
Slice onions - medium
Add half the spice mix to the onions
Add the other half of the spice mix to the flour
Mix both well
Add beaten egg into the flour, mix well
Add enough water to form a stiff batter
Place lumps of the mix on a greased baking sheet
Bake in oven for 10 mins, spray with a little oil
Bake for a further 10 mins
Turn over, spray with more oil and bake for another 15 - 20 mins
