Deep fried Camembert

Description:
Gooey deep fried cheese with crispy breadcrumb coating
Ingredients:
2 Whole Camembert
Flour
Breadcrumbs
1 Egg
Oil for frying

Cooking Time:
Few mins (until brown but not leaking)
Equipment:
Deep fat fryer/large saucepan
Method:
Cut each Camembert into 6 equal portions.
Pour some flour onto a plate and season with fresh ground black pepper.
Beat the egg.
Pour breadcrumb onto a plate.
Dip the Camembert into the flour and coat thoroughly.
Next dip into the beaten egg, and then into the breadcrumbs.
Repeat to ‘double coat’ the Camembert.
Heat some oil until a small piece of bread turns brown in approx 20-30 seconds. (190 degrees C)
Fry the Camembert in the oil for approx 30 seconds and allow to rest.
When Camembert stops ‘fizzing’ return to the oil for a further 1½ minutes or until golden brown.
Repeat until all the Camembert pieces are cooked.
