Methi Paratha (V)

Description:
Makes 6 flatbreads
Ingredients:
2 cups plain flour
1 cup methi leaves
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp ajwain seeds
1 chopped green chilli
3 tsp oil
Oil or butter for frying

Cooking Time:
Approx 5 mins per bread
Method:
Mix ingredients well
Add water and knead until a soft dough is achieved
Split into 6 equal sized balls
Dust each ball with flour and rool to a 6 inch round
Brush with oil or melted butter then dust with flour
Cut slits across the rounds about a milimeter apart
Roll the dough into a sausage shape so the slits run lenghtways
Brush with a little more oil/butter and coil into a round
Flatten gently and then roll to a 6 inch round
Fry on a medium heat for a couple of minutes and then flip over and repeat
Brush with top oil/melted butter, flip over and fry until golden, then flip over and repeat
